FALL 2025 Riverwood Marching Band

Marching Band is an extracurricular activity available to any student enrolled in the Band program at Riverwood. Members of the Riverwood Marching Band play their instruments in the outdoor marching setting, primarily performing stand tunes and a half-time show at varsity football games throughout their season. The marching band also participates actively in pep rallies, parades, competitions, and other outreach events throughout the season.

Students involved in marching band learn skills relevant to the activity itself, but our program strives to teach skills that are used beyond the setting of marching band. Members of the Riverwood Marching Band exude strengths in confidence, determination, teamwork, leadership, communication, commitment, and many more characteristics.

Most importantly, involvement in the marching band strengthens the sense of family and togetherness within our band program. Students in the marching band develop strong camaraderie amongst each other, aiming to create relationships that last well beyond high school.
